Cheapest way to get from Helsingor, Denmark to Helsingborg, Sweden - Things To Do

Helsingborg is one of the oldest town in Sweden, it is located just across the Helsingor which is also known as Elsinore located in territory of Denmark.  Do I need a Corona Test before going to Helsingborg if I am a resident of Denmark? - No, you don't need to have a Coronatest result inorder to  enter the territory of Sweden in Helsingborg (Updated as of July). By Ferry - If you are just going to Helsingborg by foot (without your own vehicle) you have to check the website of forsea.dk to check the ticket fee and time schedule of the ferries. It is usually available every 20 mins and the travel time usually takes 20 mins also from Helsingor going to Helsingborg port or central station.  Or, If you are in the station of helsingor, the Forsea is just in the right side. Enter the building and the ticket counter is located in the second floor.

The blooming yellow flower field is a common flower field you see in Denmark. Living near Copenhagen, I thought that this kind of field only grows in the countryside of the land, I never believed that it could grow nearby.  I am surprisingly tilting in this fascinating field. 

The yellow flower field in Denmark is called the 'Canola or Rapeseed' flower field. It is used as biodiesel and the largest source of vegetable oil that is part of their living essential.

The private farmers in Denmark owned the rapeseed flower field, it grows between the springtime and mid-summer. If you are planning to go there, just arrive before the farmers harvest it.


How to get there from Copenhagen Central Station?

1. By Train - Take the C-Train Frederikssund St. heading to the Vekso Station, it takes only 35 minutes.  From the train, you will start seeing those yellow flower field. Just go across the street by the overpass, start walking and enjoy the field.

    Note: Don't forget to tap your transportation card in check-in or check-out to avoid a penalty of 750dkk.        Some people will check your card inside the train.

2. By Car - You can drive from Copenhagen going to Vekso approximately by 35 - 37 minutes depends on your speed but take note of the speed limits in Denmark to avoid dilemmas. 

3. By Bicycle - If you want to go by cycle, it takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, always keep in mind to follow the right lane in bicycles. 


How to get a transportation card?

Transportation card is needed when you take the train, metro, and bus in Denmark. You can get a card in 7-eleven or  DSB. There is an adult transportation card and a youth transportation card.
